American Gointer Build Information

The American Gointer is a hybrid cross-breed between the English Pointer and the Golden Retriever. They are medium sized, with flappy ears, and straight fur that comes in color variations of light cream, golden fawn, or even dark brown/chocolate with the occasional occurrence of white-tipped footpads and tails.

Behaviour and Personality

American Gointers are extremely loving dogs, perfect for family pets and great with children. They can, however, stubborn and should be trained and socialized from their puppy days. American Goiters are protective of their families and tend to do best with people who pay attention to them and have regular interactions.
