A hybrid mix between the Basset Hound and the Scottish terrier, the Bascottie is a small/medium dog characterized by its often pointy ears, short legs, and thick wavy fur which generally takes on shades of black, brown, dark brown, and chocolate.

Behaviour and Personality
This breed is widely available and are known to be hyper active, lively, and very agile. They are highly intelligent and with some training can learn a number of tricks. Bascotties are not very suitable for living with children as they are super active and tend to jump on people. To burn off the extra energy they should get lots of exercise.
