Cava-Tzu dogs are not purebreds, but are instead a cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Shih-Tzu. They tend to be very intelligent dogs, and are very playful and active, enjoying lots of attention from their owners. Right from the time they are puppies on through adulthood, Cava-Tzus tend to have very cute and appealing faces, with big eyes they inherit from their King Charles Spaniel side.

Behaviour and Personality
Cava-Tzus burn energy in huge bursts, which makes them wonderful dogs to play with and to have fun with. They are excellent dogs in the company of children, being very friendly, affectionate, and loving. These are small dogs which grow no larger than 15 to 20 pounds even in adulthood.
