Greek Greyhound Build Information
The Greyhound is a purebred dog with unknown origins, though they have been present in ancient Greece, Egypt, and Persia. They are tall and slender in frame, with strong necks, and built for running. Their short, hard coat may come in any color and they are typically a blend of two or three colors.
Behaviour and Personality
They are independent, but loving dogs and can be good additions for families with no other pets as they prey instinct is extremely strong. These dogs are naturally shy and must be socialized and trained early on to handle any situation; they only respond to positive reinforcement and gentle methods. They have high exercise needs and a minimum of two hours with plenty of off-leash running opportunities is the only way to keep these dogs happy.
