The Italian Spinone, or Spinone Italiano, is a purebred dog hailing from Italy and bred for the purpose of hunting. They have large floppy ears, large circular eyes, and strong bodies with thick, wiry coats that come in either brown and white, speckled brown, white, orange, or speckled orange with brown and white markings. Although meant for hunting, these dogs are very sweet, well-behaved with laid-back personalities.

Behaviour and Personality
They make great additions to family and are particularly affectionate and adoring with children. Italian Spinones are very sensitive and should always be treated gently. Training is simple as these dogs are very smart and should be undertaken in a firm and gentle manner. While they are not hyperactive dogs, their daily exercise requirements include at least an hour of long walks and play.
