Behaviour and Personality

Japanese Kishu dogs are prized not only for their hunting skills, but also their loyalty, friendliness, and dignified appearance. Because these dogs can be willful and headstrong, it is necessary for owners to stay firm and consistent with training as well as take the time to properly socialize the dog.
