The Malti-Pug is a cross between the Maltese and the Pug. It is a small breed that weighs between 7 and 20 pounds and stands between 8 and 14 inches tall when fully grown. It has a smooth, soft coat that requires minimal grooming and sheds a negligible amount, making it perfect for owners who don't want to vacuum a lot of dog hair regularly.

Behaviour and Personality
Malti-Pugs are know for being friendly, affectionate, loyal and playful. They are good dogs for families with small children, and they can usually get enough exercise by playing in a backyard or visiting a dog park. They are unlikely to bark at strangers and warm up to people quickly, but they don't make good watchdogs for these reasons. Malti-Pugs are difficult to train, and may not be a good choice for first-time dog owners or those who lack the patience to train a stubborn and energetic pet. Obedience training is recommended for owners who cannot take the time to train a Malti-Pug.

During its lifetime your pet is exposed to many illnesses and diseases and some breeds are affected by a congenital disease which is a condition existing at birth. At these moments when your pet is ill or maybe needs surgery, you want to be protected for the unexpected and high veterinarian costs.
