These dogs are known for being very loyal to their owners as a watchdog, but are also very energetic and playful, making for a great family dog. Due to the high energy levels of both Papillons and Dachshunds, Papshunds are very energetic and require lots of exercise and attention in order to stay happy. They are also known for their stubborn nature, which makes training a bit more difficult, especially for first time dog owners. With proper training, exercise, and socialization, Papshunds make for a great family dog that is loyal, protective, and full of love.
