A Peke-A-Pap is a small hybrid that results from a cross between a Papillon and a Pekingese. Peke-A-Paps have long, straight, silky fur that works well in most environments, but in particularly hot areas, Peke-A-Paps may need to be a short trim. Most Peke-A-Paps tend to be a mix of black, brown, and white, but some may be a single shade.

Behaviour and Personality

Though they do not need a great deal of exercise, Peke-A-Paps are still energetic enough to love walking and playing outside. As long as they are in a happy, reassuring environment, Peke-A-Paps remain friendly and playful. They can be very protective and loyal, so they are good watchdogs. Peke-A-Paps can be rather territorial, but they are intelligent enough to respond well to early, firm training.
