The Portuguese Pointer is a hunting and gun dog with a long history as a royal bird dog. Their coat is short, dense, weather resistant, and easy to care for. They are a medium size breed measuring 19 to 22 inches tall and they can weigh from 35 to 55 pounds. This dog is not only a great hunter but sweet and loyal as well.
