Seidenspitz Build Information

The seidenspitz is one of the oldest hybrid dog breeds, and it originated in Germany during the 1800s. A seidenspitz is a cross between a Maltese and a Pomeranian. The toy-sized dog weighs between three and seven pounds and stands between nine and 14 inches tall at the shoulder. The seidenspitz is clad in a silky long coat of straight hair that is white or black in color. The coat must be brushed regularly to prevent tangling and matting.
