Behaviour and Personality

The Shorgi is a mix of Shih-Tzu and Corgi--either Pembroke or Cardigan Welsh Corgi--and as such is a smart, smaller-sized dog with a lot of energy. Generally, the Shorgi inherits the short Corgi legs and the Shih-Tzu's fur and head. Shorgis tend to need plenty of exercise, and they can be protective of their owners. Intense, early training helps Shorgis tolerate other dogs and strangers.
