The Silkypin is a designer breed, combining the gregariousness of a Silky Terrier with the regal astuteness of a Miniature Pinscher. Their coat usually resembles that of the Miniature Pinscher, being brown with some variation of black. They require a moderate amount of grooming and can be susceptible to dry skin. At maturity, they tend to average between 4 to 10 pounds and stand approximately 7 to 11 inches tall.

Behaviour and Personality
They bond strongly with their owners, and generally dislike being alone. They can be slightly aggressive in nature, mostly due to the influence of the Miniature Pinscher, making them wonderful guard dogs despite their small size. The Silky-Pin is a bundle of energy and requires a lot of exercise, making this breed a good fit for active families.

When adding a dog or cat to your family you want to make sure your pet is happy, healthy and protected. During its lifetime your pet is exposed to many illnesses and diseases and some breeds are affected by a congenital disease which is a condition existing at birth. At these moments when your pet is ill or maybe needs surgery, you want to be protected for the unexpected and high veterinarian costs.
