However, some common medications of choice include Amoxicillin, Cephalexin, Enfrofloxacin, Gentamicin and Trimethoprim. All-natural remedies, such as homeopathy, have also been known to be effective in curing urinary tract infections in pets. Additionally, natural remedies help strengthen the immune system, which can ward off any future infections. D-mannose can help cure UTIs in felines by simply adding about 1/8 teaspoon of D-mannose to two teaspoons of water every few hours for seven to ten days.
