Weight loss may be due to a change in diet, exercise, or environment, but it can also be a sign of an underlying condition. Bring your pet to the veterinarian. Your veterinarian will run a lot of tests and may take blood, urine, and fecal samples.

Treatments

Treatment varies depending on the underlying condition. Your veterinarian may recommend nutrient supplements to help your pet gain weight back.
