Hearing Loss

The dog or cat is not responding to sounds because of a hearing problem. Deafness is more common among older pets, but it may be a sign of tumors, nerve damage, or toxins. If you notice your cat or dog not responding to sounds, a visit to a veterinarian is necessary to determine the cause.
