Liquid is coming out of the nose of the dog or cat. Typically, a clear nasal discharge in pets is nothing to worry about. However, if it lingers or becomes cloudy, yellowish, green or foul-smelling, it could be a symptom of various health issues. Some common conditions that can cause nasal discharge in dogs and cats include allergies, respiratory infections and blockages. Other causes of nasal discharge in pets are polyps, tumors, distemper, fistula and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.
