Pacing

A rate of movement of the pet, especially in stepping, walking. Pacing is a type of behavior in cats and dogs that is characterized by restless walking back and forth. There are many things that can cause this behavior in pets; however, the most common causes are severe anxiety, boredom and distress. Nevertheless, there are many other things that can cause pacing in pets, and they include liver disease, Cushing\'s disease, cognitive dysfunction and brain tumors.
